Lately, there has been a lot of talk about race, Christianity, and multi-ethnic ministry as a whole. Within the spheres of evangelicalism and conservatives there are new and vibrant voices. We have scholars like Christena Cleveland, Carl Ellis Jr., and Anthony Bradley. There are church planters like Bryan Loritts and Leonce Crump. Then there are seasoned sages like Tony Evans, Carl Ellis Jr., and John Perkins.
I believe the dialogue and doctrine provided by these saints have been absolutely tremendous. However, I do not want to lose sight of those who have walked before them. I truly believe we need to rediscover the memory and impact of Tom Skinner. Tom Skinner was a mighty evangelist for Christ and a instrumental voice on race in the evangelical sphere.
